Hosted by Matt Phillips (creator of Runchatlive.com), we welcome all health care professionals to join us for the live recording, a chance to network with fellow therapists and discuss topics that together help us all move forward as an industry.
The Sports Therapy Association (STA) is a professional representation for Sports Therapists, Sports Injury Therapists and Soft Tissue Therapists. In Part 3 of our monthly focus on 'The Foot & Ankle', we welcome special guests James Earls and Lucy Wintle in an episode entitled 'The Evolving Foot'.
James Earls is a hugely popular writer, lecturer and bodyworker specialising in Myofascial Release and Structural Integration. He is the author of internationally acclaimed books including 'Understanding the Human Foot', 'Born To Walk' and 'Fascial Release for Structural Balance'.
Lucy Wintle, co-author of 'Understanding the Human Foot' is the founder & owner of Canterbury Pilates, with a particular interest in integrating fascial movement. Lucy is part of a team designing and delivering in depth movement and anatomy courses to already qualified teachers.

Our monthly focus on 'The Foot & Ankle' continues, and in this episode we turn our attention to the extremely common and yet notoriously tricky to treat condition known as 'Plantar Fasciitis', and how other conditions of the foot, ankle and indeed whole body need to also be considered when presented with common symptoms.
Joining us in this episode are Sports Podiatrists Maddie Tait of mtpodiatry.co.uk and Ian Griffiths of sportspodiatryinfo.co.uk. Maddie Tait and Ian Griffiths both have a huge amount of experience working with complex foot & ankle injuries. Maddie works closely with Foot and Ankle Consultants, Sports Medicine Doctors and Physiotherapists and has represented England in Hockey. Ian has spoken worldwide on the topics of lower limb biomechanics and foot orthoses, and is also a visiting lecturer at Queen Mary University of London, leading the biomechanics module on the MSc in Sports & Exercise Medicine.

Our month's 'Focus on Nutrition' concludes with Part 4: ‘Nutrition for the Athletic Female’.
In this episode, we are joined by special guest Kathryn Stewart, a registered dietician with the Dublin Nutrition Centre, with a Masters in Sport and Exercise Nutrition.

Dr Gill Hart is a leading UK Biochemist, an expert on food intolerance and a credible and respected authority on a range of related issues, with over twenty years experience in the development and clinical evaluation of diagnostic tests.
